What an amazing day!!!



Thank you to all my dear friends and their families for their hospitality!! I missed being home with my family in NC but know I'll see them soon ... so I was "adopted" into many other homes that glorious day and even got to do a repeat of the annual easter egg hunt at Kimberly's grandma's house - fun!!

Most of these were taken the Friday we walked around the city of Sevilla... it was PERFECT out that day ... 70 degrees, sunny, the smell of orange blossoms was amazing, the food was fantastic!

Orange trees were EVERYWHERE in Sevilla... though we were advised not to eat the fruit... not good :)

Home from Spain : Not going to Vegas

I arrived home earlier this week... hardly able to keep my eyes open from the events that had unfolded throughout the entire week in Sevilla, Spain and the lack of sleep that allowed us to get done what needed to be done...

(Below: The orange blossoms take over the city for only two weeks each year... we were there for one of those weeks! The scent was delicious and unbelievable! )


I'm home now. My mind is still reeling from everything that happened. I don't think words nor pictures would do justice to what transpired in that beautiful city and in everyone that went. So much change has happened already... and my body is not keeping up with it still... I am officially sick as I went to the Doctors yesterday and she gave strict orders to NOT go to Sin City this weekend to speak at WPPI.

So while my friends head to Vegas for the biggest industry event of the year, I've resolved to say "no" for a change and put my health first. I'm taking the weekend and Monday off to rest so we'll be back strong on Tuesday hopefully.

Spain-Bound

In just a matter of hours, we will depart for Spain!! It's going to be a long ride over (8-9 hrs then another flight once in Spain!) but not quite as long as Greece or Brazil :)

I will be OUT OF THE COUNTRY from March 4-11th with no phone or email. All operations are continuing without me... feel free to email or call as normal... Sara will be the one getting back to you :) I'm hoping to have an internet connection to blog from and limited communication via Sara... yes, I'm bringing my ancient 2001 TITANIUM G4 Powerbook!!! (boy, is it slow!)

Honduras y Mexico

Rewind: 2nd week of January, 2008. I'm floating around the Caribbean on a major cruise-liner. 2nd stop, Honduras. 4th stop, Mexico. What do we see???
