Today is the last day to register to vote in GA. If you haven't done this yet (no matter what state you're in) GO REGISTER NOW!
Next, I'd encourage you to set out some time to TURN OFF THE TV where all the media and the commercials are throwing a bunch of nonsense out there.... most of which fails to address the REAL, relevant issues at hand:
1. What do these candidates stand for?
2. What issues will they back / not back?
3. How will their lead effect YOU and ME, PERSONALLY?
There are a few things I look for in a leader:
1. They lead by example and have a history that shows this, not just empty promises
2. They admit when they are wrong and have a humble spirit
3. They surround themselves by a team of excellent people of integrity, people who are also proven leaders in their fields, people who are smarter than them
4. The well-being of the people they lead is more important than their OWN agenda
The funny thing about this list is that this applies to ALL kinds of leadership... leading an informal group of people, running a business, serving as President or Vice President of our nation.
I'd encourage you to go back and watch what they have to say about the actual issues and read up on these things, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Don't just vote based on what you normally vote for, what the media says, who you think is a better speaker, or because you read their book. The people who lead this country will effect so many aspects of our lives, we cannot AFFORD not to be educated!
Go read on the Official Websites what they've published about what they'll work towards if they become president:

I'd also recommend checking out some of the past debates and civil forums on YouTube such as the forum conducted at Saddleback in California where EACH were asked the SAME questions and they could not hear each other's response. ***CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE FIRST QUESTION*** you can click on the links on YouTube to watch the rest.
