An Attorney & Cop Meet at the DMV: Tammy & Charles Epics!

Well, the truth is... they first spotted each other at the DMV, but it wasn't until a few days later that Charles spotted Tammy again and had a chance to make his move. Charles recalled their first meeting, laughing: "I saw her first at the DMV but couldn't get up the nerve to strike up a conversation. A few nights later, my friends and I were out at a bar and there she was! I told my friends it was her and they told me to go talk to her right away. After finally getting up the nerve, I went over there and said 'Didn't I just see you the other day?' and she brushed me off, thinking it was some pick-up line!"

Tammy explained that "well, I didn't recognize him... I'd told my friends about the hot cop I'd seen at the DMV and here's this guy coming up to me in the bar in plain clothes and I almost didn't realize it was him."

Luckily, Charles was persistent and the rest is history! They'll be tying the knot in May and I'm super excited to be shooting a high-fashion bridal session with Tammy in a few weeks up in NC.

But first, their engagment pics...

The day couldn't have been more perfect. We'd arrived in Charlotte, NC mid morning after a 5:30am wake-up time and quick drive up I-85 on Friday. We found some great spots just walking around downtown Charlotte.















In the middle of taking the above picture, some random guy on the street came up and started a commentary on the photo session. He was a bit odd but it got them cracking up so we caught come fun shots from it...





I think Tammy and Charles might just be models in disguise...
