Hi, my name is Liana Lehman. Thanks for visiting my personal photo news blog that we fondly refer to as 'liana's bananas' thanks to my childhood nickname and tendency to post about crazy, fun happenings.

I'm extremely blessed to be doing what God has called me to do - helping others achieve the impossible and experience the beauty about them always!

I hope to share my adventures through this blog -- including my more recent 101 in 1001 challenge!

liana_lehman

This is a place for me to post all the latest happenings in my world - whether it be recent images from destination weddings and lifestyle portrait shoots, something silly that's going on, and even some personal stuff.

If you're an entrepreneur or professional photographer, the BananasEDU blog is full of biz topics. Check out the links above and below for access to all our sites.

It puts a smile on my face to hear your thoughts so comment away and leave your links!

The Story of Stuff

A few weeks ago, I somehow got an email introducing a new 20-minute video that explains the lifecycle of STUFF. Hmmm....

Photobucket

20 minutes later I sat in awe at the new tid-bits of knowledge and insights into the topics covered in this video and couldn't help but research more.

It would be in vain to describe here the research and things described in the video so ***CLICK HERE*** to visit the website and watch it yourself and/or check out the mini-clips below.

Next up... find out what I'm going to be doing about it next year!!!

F.E. Castleberry commented: Wowsers this can be depressing...but how true is it that we often, as a whole, find out worth in what we are able to buy? A change definitely needs to be made. December 28, 2007 at 5:26 PM

Eddie Bojorquez (Studio 512) commented: I'm always fascinated by the rat race and commercialism we let ourselves fall into. Christmas is a perfect time for you to post these. It's funny how the birth of our Lord has turned into this insane shopping bonanza with crazed credit card flurries. I love the idea of giving gifts, but there's just so much more to life and celebrating. These clips are one version of that reminder for us. Thanks and have an amazing '08! -E January 3, 2008 at 4:06 PM
