Change is coming no matter WHO is president... The important thing is WHO will we vote for to lead us in the RIGHT DIRECTION?
Yeah, yeah, probably sick of the political posts on my blog... and my parents are convinced I should stop posting these things because I'm probably 'loosing business by doing so.' I've been torn down and trashed in emails, forums, and online for sharing my opinion (and sharing other's opinions I agree with) these past few weeks. Yes, it would be MUCH easier to keep quiet. But I choose to practice what the First Amendment gives us, and what is in my heart to do. I will not remain silent.
I will SHARE:
Focus on the Family Chairman, James C. Dobson's recent Newsletter
Huntley Brown's thought-provoking observations
Video footage from a rally in Miami that the news kept under wraps.
Interesting Howard Stern interview (I'm not a fan of his in general... but this is scary how lots of people really do not do their research!)
Last, but not least, I found this sermon particularly compelling. It's long but if you choose to watch, PLEASE take the time to watch in it's entirety. I really wish this pastor did not throw out the names and judgments on his congregation, but it's worth overlooking for the rest of it, IMHO.

Second, it's pretty obvious you're adept at showing the anti-Obama stuff, but you show very little that supports McCain. Such as, how, in YOUR opinion (not YouTube's), is McCain's health care plan better for Americans than Obama's? Or, how would McCain's economic plan 'save America' over Obama's?
I would like to read that blog, one that attempts to persuade me to vote FOR someone, rather than persuade me to only vote AGAINST the other. Looking forward to it. Or, just do what Barack sez: "Don't boo, just vote!" October 29, 2008 at 12:36 AM

Christians do not have to be Republicans. It is hurtful to many to imply that one party is right and the other is wrong. October 29, 2008 at 7:28 PM
This election is more about Obama than McCain. I could give you 101 reasons why Obama is dangerous and none of it has anything to do with him personally. It’s what he’s said he believes and how he has behaved and voted. It’s his worldview and character. Though I do wonder why we haven’t heard from his grandmother or anyone else he’s ever known, what a great guy he is. I think the media has interviewed everyone in Alaska who’s even seen Sarah Palin walk down the street.
America has only been successful when people are free to work hard and profit from their labor – beginning with the pilgrims who were starving because they were forced to share everything. When they were able to keep when they worked for they had abundance – the first Thanksgiving.
Obama disagrees with the Constitution, which does not provide for spending money on welfare. (Obama’s tax “credits” are refundable which is the same thing as welfare since the 40% of people that don’t pay income tax will get a check)
“A wise and frugal government… shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.” — Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1801
In 1794, when Congress appropriated $15,000 for relief of French refugees who fled from insurrection in San Domingo to Baltimore and Philadelphia, James Madison stood on the floor of the House to object saying: “I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.” — James Madison, 4 Annals of Congress 179, 1794
Obama’s idea to pit income classes against each other by using the tax system for social engineering is like saying the American dream only exists until X dollars and then you shouldn’t have any more. As a small business owner I don’t make $250,000 (though Obama has now said $150,000 is rich) but I hope someday to and I don’t want to be penalized for it.
Obama also disagrees with the Bill of Rights which confirms our right to life since without that liberty and the pursuit of happiness are irrelevant. Obama is the most liberal Senator on all issues, with a radical pro-abortion record, particularly when he was a state Senator and was the vocal opposition to a born alive infants protection act.
I won’t take the time to give you my next 100 reasons not to vote for Obama, but I could go on for hours. McCain does not propose to radically change our way of life and personally I don’t care for him, but I don’t fear him as President. Say what you like about Bush, but we haven’t had a terrorist attack in 7 years and I’d like to keep it that way. McCain doesn’t need to be tested, he already has been. October 29, 2008 at 8:40 PM
I just want people to be informed on the details, before voting. I still haven't met an Obama supporter who can give me a policy reason they support him. It's all about the flowery language about hope and change that hides the details. October 29, 2008 at 9:09 PM
What I AM claiming here is that are principals that this nation's founders built our constitution on...principals that we as Christians believe in. If you are a Christian and are voting for Obama, I would encourage you to go back and open the bible and see WHERE in there it says murder is okay and that we should look to our government for our heath, daily bread, and well-being. It's not in there. I'd encourage any Christians to seek the Lord in prayer and scripture WHO will be a faithful steward, a faithful leader of this nation. October 29, 2008 at 9:15 PM
I agree 100% and believe that we need a leader who will be FOR the Constitution, not against it.
McCain has served this country for His ENTIRE Life.
Obama's record is of international alignment with multiple individuals who DIRECTLY OPPOSE what this government is founded on. I agree it is down-right frightening! October 29, 2008 at 9:21 PM
